Everything but Anxiety

Everything But Anxiety is an exhibition of art that aims to express and reject appearance anxiety. The exhibition touches on a number of academic and artistic aspects: the history of deformed aesthetics from ancient times to the present day, the study of marketing as a means of creating appearance anxiety, music therapy, clothing design, and fabrics as an expression of appearance anxiety, and the production of a short art film called "Filter". The final exhibition was held at the school, and we designed and built the whole venue by ourselves. We designed our own posters, flyers, and tweets to publicize the exhibition, but in the end, just one day before the exhibition was scheduled to take place, the epidemic broke out again, and we had to re-publicize the exhibition and arrange for a new venue a few months later. The exhibition took 9 months from the initial conception to the completion of each small project to the final exhibition, and there were only 6 girls in the group. In this era of harshness towards women's appearance, we are encouraging more girls to reject their anxiety about their looks through creative and diversified ways.
